I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. My research primarily focuses on the determinants and consequences of disclosures, as well as the role and dynamics of the auditing industry. I use machine learning and deep learning models in my research to shed light on aspects of firms’ disclosures that are not easily perceptible to human readers/ listeners.
I teach Data Analytics. In my course, I introduce students to emerging accounting technologies such as data visualization, robotic process automation, and machine learning applications to prepare them for the fast-changing, global marketplace.
